Setting MPSuperShape Colors

Selected Colors

MPSuperShape indicates selected shapes by changing their colors. These colors can be set by going to the Selected Colors tab on the the MPSuperShape Information and Options dialog box. Both the fill color and the outline color can be set. You can also set one of these to be transparent by checking either No Color checkbox. Note: You cannot set this checkbox for both the fill and the outline. This is not allowed by MapPoint, and it would also make the shape completely invisible.

The large squares show the current color settings. A color setting is changed by clicking on one of the small color squares in the palettes to the right.

The line thickness used for the shape's outline can also be changed by using the Line Thickness setting.

The colors used by MapPoint for normal, unselected shapes can be changed using the Changing Colors function.

New Colors

Some MPSuperShape operations (eg. Intersection and Boundary) will create new shapes. The New Colors tab is used to set the colors and line thickness which will be used for these shapes. These settings will appear when the shapes are de-selected. They work in the same manner as the Selected Colors settings:
